This solid dish soap is made from pure saponified organic coconut oil and is tough on greasy dishes! Coconut oil alone is the best degreaser and cleaner you can buy. It eliminates oils and grime and leaves everything spotless. 
Saponified coconut oil is best used as a household cleanser which is why I do not use it in my bath soaps, it strips oils, all oils and does its best as a household cleanser where grease and oils need to be cleansed away.
